University of Benin (UNIBEN) Post UTME 2020/2021 Academic Admission Process And Requirements
The University of Benin (UNIBEN) hereby invites candidates who chose the University as first choice in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum score of 200 to apply for Post-UTME Screening Exercise for admission into the University.
Candidates Eligible for UNIBEN Post UTME
Candidate must have the following:
- Candidates who do not participate in the Post-UTME screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
2. Only candidates who applied through JAMB for the 2020/2021 UTME Admission and choose the University of Benin as First Choice and score 200 and above are eligible for this Screening Exercise
3. Obtained at least five (5) credit passes at GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or their equivalent at not more than two(2) sittings. The subjects must include English Language, and Mathematics (for courses for which a credit in mathematics is required) as well as three
other relevant subjects (four if excluding mathematics); at not more than two sittings.
4. Former students of the University whose admissions were withdrawn on the basis of poor academic performance or absence status could re-apply on the condition that the new admission shall be for a new course/ programme different from the former course/programme.
Any student expelled from the University cannot be offered fresh admission
HOW TO APPLY FOR UNIBEN POST UTME SCREENING FORM
Candidates are advised to have a valid e-mail account before starting the application process.
1. Visit www.uniben.eduClick on Student Portal; Select the WAEUP PORTAL.
2. Click on Applicants and then select UNIBEN ADMISSION SCREENING 2020/2021
3. Click on Register for application at the top left of the displayed page to proceed.
4. Enter your Surname Exactly as written on the JAMB Registration slip, and JAMB Registration number. Immediately, your ID and Password will be displayed on the browser
5. Back On uniben.waeup.org click on ‘Login’ (top right of the front page).
6. Enter your username and the password to login.
7. To start the application process, please click on ‘Application record’ and provide all required information.
8. To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “Pay with Remita” on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee of N 2,000:00; with a valid ATM-Enabled Card from any Commercial Bank in Nigeria
9. Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application online. (No correction will be accepted after the closing date).
10. Go back online on the appointed date (25th November 2020) to print out the acknowledgement slip that contains your specific screening schedule.

Application website closes by midnight of Monday, 14th September, 2020 (i.e all applications must be concluded online not later than 14th September, 2020). Candidates who pay after the deadline of Midnight 14th September, 2020 will not be screened.
